New Programs...but always Hands-On-Learning

It’s Summer time once again and we are pleased to introduce new programs. We listened to your requests and are adding more programs with experiments and creative writing. Now, children can become STEM scientists and authors. It’s going to be a productive summer!

Science Programs

Kiddie Cafe 2-5 years old (P4,500) 10 sessions

Have fun learning about the world we live in through stories, pretend play and building in the Lego Kiddie Café. Explore themes such as animals, restaurants, community, farm and places in town using Lego Duplo. These timeless bricks help boost fine-motor skills, literacy, socialization and foster imagination and creativity through active play.

(New) Arsty Bitsy Science 2-4 yrs. old (P4,500) 10 sessions

Kids can explore the world of creepy crawlies and insects with this wonderful program that combines art and science. Here, they can experiment, learn and create artwork that reflects the mysterious and interesting life of bugs.

Adventures with SAM (Science, Art and Math) 4-6 yrs. old (P4,500) 10 sessions

Here’s another way to introduce science and math through hands-on building using Lego Duplo and other Science Kits. Solve challenges using simple machines, Lego tubes, math trains and many more. It’s truly an adventure as we predict, observe and out our ideas to the test!

Young Scientist 4-8 years old (P4,500) 10 sessions

Have a curious preschooler who loves to experiment? Then bring the exciting world of science to life through awesome hands-on experiments that make learning too much fun. Launch a balloon rocket, make color paddles, build paper helicopters, grow a garden and many more. It’s cool to be a young scientist!

Science Explorers 4-8 yrs. old, (P4,500) 10 sessions

Science is fascinating and becomes exciting as children experiment with different science concepts. Make your play dough light up, volcanoes erupt, sandwich bags explode, create a bouncy ball from scratch and many more… There’s no shortage of activities that make science meaningful for our young children’s inquisitive minds.

Junior Creative Scientist 7-10 yrs. old (P4,500) 10 sessions

A Junior Creative scientist not only learns about matter and energy but also creates their own art from the given materials. Activities include candle making, recycling paper and sugar glass. Learn why and how things are made and create your very own product — blending together the revolutionary world of science and art.

Lego Robotics

Robofun 4-6 years old (P4,500) 10 sessions

There’s something magical about putting LEGO bricks in children’s hands. It awakens and opens their imagination. This program takes it a step further by giving them opportunities to make their creations come to life through simple robotics. By learning how to use gears, wheels, axles and specialized motors –they’ll have plenty of opportunities to make their models dance, tap, spin and move in a variety of ways. Becoming a Robotmaker is a lot of fun!

Explorer Class 6-10 years old (P4,500) 10 sessions

This program is a great introduction to the world of programming and simple robotics. It’s an adventure as you build exciting models such as a rocking boat, snapping alligator or twirling birds using LEGO. After each model is built—program it to move in different ways you desire using sensors and motors.

Creator Class 8 -12 years old (P4,500) 10 sessions

Build different models such as a ferris wheel, crane and a draw bridge. This is an excellent way to develop logic, sequencing and problem solving as your creations spin, twirl and mimic real-life machines. Learn to program your creations to move in a variety of ways with extra Lego elements such as sensor, wheels, and motors.

Creator Quests 8 -12 years old (P4,500) 10 sessions

After completing the Creator class—it’s time to take on new challenges. There are 10 exciting quests to undertake that make you think outside and inside the box. Each quest poses a different challenge and different rules and be ready for more surprises. Quests include making a marshmallow launcher and a burglar alarm system. The only way to succeed in the quests is to Imagine-Plan-Create and Improve!

This is the final series after completing Creator Quest. Prepare for more complex challenges and additional lego parts such as lights and multiple motors. It’s a series of challenges that will push through the boundaries of critical thinking and creativity!

Lego Mindstorms EV3

Prime Mover Class 10 – 16 years old (P5,500)

At the heart of the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education Core Set is the EV3 brick. It is a powerful small computer that makes it possible to control motors and collect sensor feedback. This program is an introduction to building with Mindstorms EV3 and its numerous parts. Students choose what robotic structure to build and are guided accordingly.

Challenger Class 10 -16 years old (P5,500)

Blast into success with Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math with Lego Mindstorms EV3 Challenger Class. There are 7 missions and projects in this class that enables students to build, program, and test their solutions based on real-life robotics technology.

(New) Green City Challenge 10-16 yrs. old (P5,500)

A MIndstorm EV3 Robotic Challenge that involves preserving and creating an energy efficient city. Program your robot for a new set of challenges such as powering a wind turbine and closing a dam. Go Green!

(New) Aztec Adventure 8-12 yrs. old (P5,500)

Be an explorer and embark on an archaeological expedition investigating a newly discovered Mayan pyramid. During this expedition, encounter various problems which can only be solved by creating a unique robot for each challenge. As you uncover solutions, uncover the secrets to surviving this Mayan Adventure. No laptop is needed! Learn to program using your brick only.

Write your own book today!

Creative Writing Workshop

(New) Story Magic 8-12 yrs. old (P4,500) 10 sessions

Children are natural story tellers but may need a little help writing it down on paper. By using graphic organizers and building different scenes with Lego, writing becomes much easier and interesting. At the end of the class, children are encouraged to publish their own fiction work, complete with pictures of their Lego scenes. Being an author was never this much fun!

My Story 8-12 yrs. old (P4,500) 10 sessions

At the “My Story” Class, Children are encouraged to write a book about their family or an unforgettable event in their lives. They can build scenes using different Lego minifigures and add this picture to their personal stories. It’s an autobiography you always want to remember.

(New) Comic Creator 8-12 yrs. old (P4,500) 10 sessions

Build different scenes with Lego, take a pictures, add the words and you have a comic strip.Create more comic strips to make one cohesive story and viola ! You are a now a comic creator. Print the pages and enjoy!

Children With Special Needs

We believe that every child can achieve ! If you have a child with special needs (Autism, Down Syndrome etc..) that would like to participate in any of our programs, please give us a call. If you’re unsure if your child is ready, bring your child in for a quick assessment. Full inclusion classes or private tutorials are available. No child should be left behind.

Culminating Day = Pizza Party

Let’s celebrate our student’s accomplishments with a Pizza Party. Students will also exhibit their original work and receive framed certificates. Parents and friends are encouraged to join. Invitations will be sent out soon. See you there!

To promote independence and self-exploration , we challenge our students to build, experiment, imagine and even make mistakes. We believe that it’s a great way to learn ! We always have 2-3 instructors per class–that way they always have guidance and a helping hand.
